Enter SunGuard - an easy-to-use laundry aid that washes UV protection right into clothes.  Add into a load of laundry, and you was a skin-saving Ultra-Violet Protection Factor of UPF 30 into every garment and protect against damaging rays for up to 20 washings.

The result?  You and your family enjoy the comfort of wearing everyday clothing and your comfortable in the knowledge that they're better sheltered from the sun - even as they embrace the great outdoors.

SunGuard is safe for all washable fabrics including cotton, linen, rayon and silk. SunGuard will not add sun protection to polyester or acrylic fabrics. Will not change the look and feel of clothing.

Directions: Select water level suitable to load size.  Choose hottest water and wash cycle appropriate for fabric.  Add SunGuard as washer is filling, pouring just above the water level.  Add clothes, avoid crowding.  Set wash cycle for at least 15 minutes.  Rinse and dry as usual.  Water temperature should be 100 degrees or higher. Do not use bleach when applying SunGuard.  Future laundering with bleach will not affect the UV protective quality.  Not intended to be used as a spray solution on items such as hats, umbrellas and awnings.

Excellent way to safe guard against UV

I have found the customer services really helpful. I've washed, dried and worn the clothing and can confirm you would not know this UV protection is in the clothing. I'm all for any way to protect myself and children against UV so this was just a win as most our clothes are cotton and the UV clothing I have found is not appealing to children. All in all very satisfied with this product I just wish there was a way of testing it after you've washed it to ensure that the product is actually absorbed and is working.
