Time: 1 hour
Difficulty: Beginner
- Before dyeing, rinse wood pieces in cool water. This helps to remove any finishes that may interfere with dye absorption.
- Add a ½ cup of Tangerine All-Purpose dye into a large container with hot water and stir to mix.
- Place damp wooden house into dyebath. The woode pieces will want to float so keep it submerged using tongs.
- Once desired color is achieved, remove from dyebath and rinse in cool water. Allow it to air dry completely.
- Repeat Steps 1-4 to dye remaining wooden houses with additional colors.
- Once completely dry, use hot glue gun to adhere googly eyes, spider webs and plastic spiders as desired.
